Shive-Hattery was responsible for design and construction observation for the construction of two outdoor signs for the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine campus. The signs recognize the Carver Trust. The sign design featured monumental style limestone-clad walls with lettering identifying The University of Iowa, the College of Medicine, and the Carver Family. Sign installation locations were near the bus turnaround on Newton Road and one just west of Medical Education and Biomedical Research Facility (MERF).
